Stone massage involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. Wedding Extras: Your host, and professional wedding planner, Suzie, will orchestrate every detail according to your requests and help you select from a variety of extra details for your ceremony and celebration. We can bring professional make-up artists and hair stylists to transform the Bride and Bridesmaids, and all others who desire. We can also arrange services from finest floral designers, specialty linens and chair covers, as well as many other wedding extras such as distinctively designed place cards, guest book, musicians, photographers, cameraman video and wedding cake creators that Vancouver or Sunshine Coast has to offer! We promise to guide you every step of the way and ensure that your intimate wedding is perfect in every way. From the way the tables are set, to the moment you enter the garden as bride and groom.

Marriage Licenses: It is a requirement in British Columbia for couples getting married to obtain a marriage license. Bride or groom must make application in person at any government agent office in BC or at certain Notary Publics. A fee is charged and proper identification is required. The license is usually provided immediately upon application.  If you haven’t taken care of the government issues at the Department of Vital Statistics in downtown Vancouver, you can obtain a marriage license at the Municipal Hall in Sechelt (tel: 1.800.663-8328) for $100.00 and your choice of five marriage commissioners, plus ministers who can lead the ceremony at Sakinaw Lake Lodge.  Your Host, wedding planner, Suzie, will provide and assist you with all the required documentation, that must be arranged to appropriate British Columbia government department prior to arrival.

Wedding Ceremony:

•  Location: The wedding ceremony could be held in our garden setting or on one of our waterfront decks. Our Panoramic Lake and Mountain View decks, bridge over the pound, and wilderness landscaped gardens keep romance blooming all summer. However, due to weather conditions, an alternative plan is advised.
• Ceremonies/Receptions: We offer a variety of cocktail and dinner options; several different menus are available. Celebrate your wedding with candlelight dinner, beautiful romantic atmosphere, mellow setting surrounded with colorfully muted lights and soft music, You can soak in the timeless moments following sunset while enjoying a delicious meal of design.
•  Relax & Enjoy: Your hosts will work with you to create a wonderful rehearsal dinner for family and friends. We’will handle all the details so you can relax before your special day.
• Romance & Memories: The ceremony and reception are just the beginning. Let the romance continue.. Imagine a gorgeous honeymoon suite with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and breakfast in privacy.
• Spa/Activities/Water Sports: Wedding couples are entitled to a 10% discount on spa treatments, activity trip/water sports, & boat rentals during their stay.
•  Accommodation: (B&B/Resort/Hotel/Room Blocks)We advise the wedding couple, friends and guests attending the wedding book their stay with our reservation service. Due to our limited accommodations we will assist in making arrangement at neighboring facilities including negotiate rates with the bridal party and reserved rooms for your guests.
