From Vancouver
From Vancouver, take Highway 1 West to the BC Ferries terminal in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. Note: Traveling from Vancouver, you only have to pay for the ferry as you depart from Horseshoe Bay, the return trip to Vancouver is free. There you will board a ferry bound for Langdale/Gibsons on Sunshine Coast. Enjoy the scenic forty minute ferry cruise.

From Langdale Gibsons
Once you disembark in Langdale Gibsons, it is a 60 minute drive north on Highway 101. You will pass through the town of Gibsons, popularly remembered as the setting for the television show ‘The Beachcombers’. North of Gibsons, you will pass through Roberts Creek (the Gumboot Nation) and Davis Bay, home of the primary swimming beach on the Sunshine Coast. Just a few minutes more and you will be in downtown Sechelt, pass Madeira Park junction, Petro-Can, the Pender Harbour Golf Club, and then drive another 6km and turn left on Sakinaw Lake Road. Drive down the road until you see the lake and we will be there waiting to pick you up for the Sakinaw Lake Lodge, only a 3 minute boat ride.

From Powell River
Board the Saltery Bay BC ferry to Earl’s Cove. Drive approximately 10 minutes to Sakinaw Lake Road and turn left. Go down to the road and we will pick you up right there.
